Hi Everyone!

Welcome to the second issue, in this issue I will focus on how you can create audience first podcasts using concepts, lessons, trends from audience first products.
Learn how to create audience first podcasts:
You will learn about serving the needs of audiences, problems first then your own, and types of content
Building Trust, Consistency and Compounding
As a podcaster, how to take advantage of one person media company trends
How to build with and for an audience
Communities
1) Without further ado, lets dive into how to serve the needs of audiences, problems first then your own, and types of content
Arvid Kahl shares, “your audiences, needs, problems first then yours” in Audience-First Is Not Just Building an Audience
1) Put the listeners problems, needs at the front of your podcast content, and repurposing efforts
You can put the needs, problems of listeners by using story tweet and poll features to ask your listeners what problems they are facing, their needs.
Then you can create different types of content around these needs and problems, by asking listeners using story tweet and poll features what sorts of content, they would like to see on your social media pages
> Create the content you would like: educate and teach listeners about podcasting as you build up your podcast
Teaching about podcasting as you learn more about it will help you attract a like-minded audience
> Share podcasting lessons, mistakes, and advice with new podcasters: This creates relatability, transparency, and audience-centered content.
> Delight, overdeliver, substance, relevance, and empowerment are a few key points to focus on when creating shareable content.
> Make sure you also include relevant calls to action in order to generate user-generated content for your podcast

How to build with and for an audience
As suggested by Arvid Kahl in Audience-First Is Not Just Building an Audience, “Build with and for an audience first”
Share what you are building out for your podcast so that you can bring in active, engaged listeners instead of just passive listeners.
Building audiences before podcasts can help
but even without audiences you can build along the way just harder to scale and start at same times
Top of Mind Awareness: create top of mind awareness for your podcast by showing your work behind the scenes, editing process, interview process.
It is important to evaluate average consumption rate: whether a listener listens to the entire podcast or just stops after the first few seconds. Work on improving the aspect of active hearing.

Once active and engaged listeners are there then you can build a community, products around them.
Communities:
> podcast for the interest of communities that resonate with you
> create a community of your listeners:
Embed yourself where your listeners are
It is difficult to build trust, but it is easy to monetize trust (through premium podcasts, podcast courses over time this monetized trust can be used to grow word of mouth for your podcast)
Learn the language of the audience- customize, and personalize content to the language of the audience, communities you join to share about your podcast
