Q1) Journey founding Finding Excellence?
Since 4-5 years old wanted to run business(5 or 6 years old started selling rubbers and pens in school)
2011-13(Fund to Start Up- to help solo preeners, one man biz to start in online world)
Marketing for Europe -> NLP
Finding Excellence is more about coaching nowadays pivot to how to become best version of yourself, and more
Different hats everyday-doing different things(entrepreneur and business owner)
Q2) What is NLP?, and how to become a world class communicator?
Online definition: NLP stands for neuro linguistic programming(sequences of thoughts, and how they impact where we are in life)
For Jose: NLP has become a way of life, philosophy-roots are at modeling excellence
NLP Mindset = learning from others
NLP = creating a process and strategy for excellence
- Study of the structure of subjective experience(how we do what we do with excellence)
Activity: To model excellence using NLP, one activity is finding those accounts on Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and creating processes and strategies on how to model their excellence in tweets, reels, content, etc and applying it to your own work.

Q3) Insight on how to build long lasting connections:
Long lasting connections- intention to create a long lasting connection
-> no matter who you meet, mind works to make that happen(unconscious, conscious)
-> finally meet person: curiosity- desire, intention to connect(not inside my head, flowing and connection)
Audience: intention to connect, love for every human in the audience-> share stories from the heart
-> Intention to connect, Love, Curiosity
A quick activity: Create a list of people you will meet, and come up with a few questions centered on curiosity for the work they are doing, intention to learn more about them. This will help you reduce anxiety, and be better prepared to form new connections.

Q4 and Q5) How to craft, present compelling and memorable stories for business?

Introduction/Premise: Where was, Time,
Problem:
Solution/ Payoff:
Business Level:
IPS Framework, and Stories about Personal, About others, organizations
Important to prepare for audience
Which story to use, relevant/topical stories, adapt to audience
Story = Illustrates a point
How to connect?
Beauty of sharing stories = person listening to stories takes their own knowledge
Structure/framework(Adapt to themselves)
-> Different message from story
Activity: Use the IPS structure of Introduction/Premise, Problem, Solution/Payoff to create a couple of stories around the business and personal level. This can then be shared in social messaging, Medium, LinkedIn and distributed on various platforms.

International Business Strategies Strategy learn about business, customers, competitors as much as possible and present -> promote business worldwide for distributors
-> Good idea of product, and who you want to target
This point by Jose provides fantastic insight on strategies for global business which is to have a good understanding of the product, and the target market. In addition, to the business, customers, and competitors and worldwide distributors. I would add to this cultural norms, and accepted practices for doing business in an international environment.

Social Media vs Existing Presence- Audit, Position brand accordingly

Have you got an online presence?
How well positioned online?- create video using IPS
Competitor Analysis- how to stand out, anticipate customer needs comfortably, and profitably?
Activity: Create a couple of videos using IPS framework, For business’s Do a Social Media Audit and see how well positioned, and robust your online presence is.
